Who is this?
Cornet - 26 - she/he/they/etc.Howdy! My name's Cornet, but I also go by "Platy" online. I play a lot of FFXIV, draw, and currently go to college for a bachelor's in Horticulture.I'm a hobbiest artist, and mostly use art commissions as a sort of side income for going out and the occassional bill. I try to put my efforts in to provide a quality piece of art that you can share to your friends, add to your profile, and I especially love adding additional characterization to your OC!

Terms of Service
I. Commission Procedure
i. The artist may choose to either require payment up-front or to delay the sending of an invoice until a sketch has been produced. Once an invoice has been sent, work will not start or continue until full payment is made via the invoice. Quotes over $100 may be split up into two payments, with a minimum of half of the amount due before work begins. The remaining amount must be paid must be sent prior to a final piece being sent.ii. Commissions may be placed via selecting a commission on Ko-Fi, sending an email to [email protected], or directly messaging the artist (Platy) via Telegram, Twitter, Bluesky, or Discord. You may either request a specific type of commission, or we can collaborate to create a piece and price that suits your needs.iii. Once a style has been selected and approved, a legible reference of the character must be sent by the commissioner to the artist. References must be unshaded, include accurate colors, and list the species of the character to be drawn. Any differences between the reference and the ideal product must be specified by the commissioner. The commissioner should also include a brief description of the character's personality, expression wanted, or backstory to be considered for the piece. Commissioners with requests for references with no previous art of the character must provide a well-typed and clear description of their character for the artist to interpret.iv. The commissioner will then wait for any potential WIPs sent by the artist to confirm pose, color, or any other details if necessary. In some cases, the commissioner will not receive any WIPs during the drawing process. WIPs will be of low resolution and may include watermarks. WIPs may not be representative of the final product once changes have been made. WIPs are sent with the purpose of the commissioner inputing any changes needed to the piece, and any changes not mentioned at the appropriate time will not be reflected in the final work.v. The commissioner, assuming payment has been made in full, will then approve the final piece and recieve a digital copy to their instant messages or a Google Drive link with the file. All pieces will have the artist's signature and can be posted by the commissioner for non-marketing purposes. More information on the rights of an image are described below.II. Payment Options
i. Payment may be made via PayPal, Venmo, or via a trade approved by the artist. Payments will be initiated via an invoice or payment request being sent to the Commissioner's preferred email or method of payment.ii. Payment must be sent in full for invoices with a total less than $100 prior to work being done.iii. Invoices over $100 may be split into two payments, with a minimum of half of the total quote being due prior to work beginning. Final products will not be sent until the invoice is sent in full.iv. Any form of charge-back scamming history or attempts to have this done will result in a permanent blacklisting from the artist, and will be shared with peers.v. Refunds are only available to commissioners who have not received a final piece or a final preview of their commission. 20% of the total invoiced quote is non-refundable in any scenario. The remaining 80% may be requested to be refunded if no work has begun on the piece, including the preview sketch. If work has begun, the artist may determine the appropriate amount to refund with regards made to work already done on the piece. If a refund has been initiated, the commissioner forfeits any rights to the art in progress and allows the artist to reuse the art in any way they deem suitable.III. Your Rights to the Art
i. Reproduction and distribution rights for personal use are shared between the artist and commissioner. These rights include reposting onto social medias, using for personal icons and websites, printing for personal use, and other non-monetary uses.ii. Rights to marketing and monetization of the art commissioned are held exclusively by the artist. The piece created is considered exclusively owned by the artist for the sake of monetization. If the piece is found to have been used in this manor, legal action will be made to recover money illegally made with the use of owned material.iii. The right to use commissioned art for marketing and resale purposes may be purchased for an additional fee of $200 per piece of art.
